The assistance will be as credit Linked back-ended subsidy @35% of capital cost of the project in general areas and 50% in case of Hilly & scheduled areas for minimum storage capacity of 5000 MT to Maximum storage capacity of 10000MT per project.

All Loans to have interest subvention of 3% per annum upto limit of 2 CRORE for maximum period of 7 years.

Credit Gurantee coverage of loan upto 2 Crore. The fee for this coverage will be paid by government.

The objective of the Scheme is to provide integrated cold chain and preservation infrastructure facilities, without any break, from the farm gate to the consumer in order to reduce post-harvest losses of non horticulture produce,dairy,meat,poultry and marine/fish.

Grant-in-Aid will be @ 35% of eligible project cost in General Areas and @50% of eligible project cost for project in difficult areas as well as for projects of SC/ST, FPO'S and SHG'S Subject to maximum of 10 CRORE per Project.

SFAC provides interest-free venture capital to agri business projects by way of soft loan to supplement the financial gap worked out by the sanctioning authority of term Finance with respect to the cost of the project.

The quantum of SFAC venture capital Assistance will be the lower of the following:
26% of the promoters equity.
Rs.50.00 lakhs (maximum).

However, for agribusiness projects set up in the North-Eastern Region, Hilly States, (Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh , Jammu & Kashmir) and in all cases in any part of the country where the projects is promoted by Farmer producer Orgnisation, the quantum of venture capital will be the lower of the following:
40% of the promoters equity.
Rs. 50.00 lakhs.
